They are still kids. They bring the (i can set up your phone ) to the elders of the league.
Guidance is needed for certain things and the vets can learn from whats new. Hope they bring it back in the future , even to replace the allstar game . Youngins vs the Vets . |

Eichel is a good player and will only get better but he was not in the top 5 players on TNA. Rielly, Parakyo, RNH and Sheifele all made more of an impact then Eichel. Hate to agree on anything with you but Risto was the best D for Finland. |

It's very disappointing that team NA won't be advancing. This sort of thing happens in tournaments like this though when you've only got a couple games to decide everything.
I think this team was a dream team and amazing to watch. The NHL would be idiotic not to continue with the NA team in the future. I have heard detractors, but most people are very happy with the addition of that team.
Garth, thanks for including Matthews in your little list, even if he was 7th. It was a surprise you included him at all. Eichel had a good tournament too. |

Eichel starts the tourney on the first line, has a horrible tourney, ends up on the 4th line and he's the #3 star on the team.
Scheifele was a top three forward isn't even on this list
Of course Matthews, a top three forward is #7. Just barely making the list
Reilly a top pairing D man ignored while third pairing Parayko #5 and #6 Ekblad who only played 1/3rd of the games
Does any of this make sense?
Is anyone surprised?

What made team NA exciting was the barely any defense, cheat run and gun style they played.
Unfortunately, that doesn't always win you the big titles.
But damn it was fun to watch. |
